The First XVIII started off the season with a rivalry match against Carmel College. The boys secured an early lead but quietened down in the second quarter allowing Carmel to head into the halftime huddle with a small lead. Some spectacular marking allowed the Redbacks to stay in the game, however, tired legs just didn’t allow the boys to peg back Carmel’s lead. ...

Round 2 of Junior TAS Football and Basketball was a mixed bag for the OC Redbacks. While there were some thumping wins, there were some losses that would have been hard to swallow for the players. As always, there are many lessons to be learnt from these types of losses. Sometimes, a loss can be the highlight, or at least turning point of a season. ...
